Turning Point Community Church exists for the purpose of showing compassion to others in a relevant way so that we have the opportunity to share the Truth.

The key to everything we do is summed up in three words: Compassion, Relevance, and Truth.  Here is what we mean.

Compassion- The motivation for all aspects of our ministry is compassion for others.  Whether they are members of our church, first time visitors, or people we have never met, we want to have a genuine compassion for them.

Relevance- As a result of this compassion, we want to help meet people’s needs in a relevant way.  From offering counseling services to providing community outreach opportunities, we are focused on reaching out to people.  Compassion is useless if it is not acted upon.  

Truth- The purpose of compassion and relevance is to provide us with the opportunity to share the Truth with other people.  For those who are saved, compassion and relevance is about leading people to live a life that is in line with God’s Truth.  For those who are unbelievers, compassion and relevance is about creating an opportunity to share with them the Truth of God’s love. 

The Truth of God’s Word is the only thing that can bring about genuine change in the life of an individual.  As we have genuine compassion for someone, and as we prove that compassion through meeting relevant needs we will have the opportunity to share the Truth with them.
